For starters, if you want to build a place to live, you have to be able to get there.

It was coming on to High Summer at the time, but everything has to be just right, or what's the point?
When we got enough room ready we brought in a mobile home to live in, just while we got ready to build a house. Only took seven years to get ready. In the meanwhile, we wanted some where to sit comfortably outside, so we needed a deck. There is a lot of helpful information out there on doing these kinds of outdoor building projects, but it's a greater sense of accomplishment to just wing it.
